A Method for Enterprise Architecture Model Slicing

Enterprise Architecture (EA) has been applied widely in industry as it brings substantial benefits to ease communication and improve business-IT alignment. However, due its high complexity cost, EA still plays a limited role many organizations. Existing research recommends realizing more of the potential. can be developed for specific purposes, accumulated digital repository, reused when needed later. Due diversity inconsistency is challenging find relevant data reuse it. In present research, we propose using slicing techniques extract models reuse. We validate method with an official repository hosted by The Open Group. result shows that could facilitate extracting existing model components developing new artifacts save alleviate maintenance effort, help keep consistent future (re)use.
